Hair Care Shampoo Tips

Proper Hair Care should be taken while using hair shampoo.

• For oily hair use an all natural baby shampoo. If your hair is too oily, add lemon juice in warm water and rinse.
• Avoid hair shampoo products which contain alcohol; they will dry out the hair.
• Do not scrub or over-massage your hair.
• Rinse hair thoroughly with warm water.  
• Shampooing can be done as often as required to keep the hair clean and healthy. Ideally every alternate day.
• Condition regularly with an all natural hair shampoo conditioner.

Ideal Hair Care

0. Prepare your hair for shampooing.
0. Before wetting your hair for shampooing, comb the hair with a wide-toothed comb to prevent tangles.
0. For good hair care, adjust the water temperature and water flow.
0. Wet your hair and scalp thoroughly.
0. Apply the baby shampoo to the hair by first pouring it into your hand.
0. Apply the baby shampoo with your hands and fingers, and massage firmly in circular movements.
0. Massage the whole head for good hair care.
0. Carefully rinse your hair and scalp thoroughly.
0. Apply more baby shampoo and massage for a second time if needed.  If you shampoo regularly, there's no need to lather twice.
0. Rinse with clean water all baby shampoo from the hair and scalp.

Baby Hair Care Tips

By teaching your children good hair care techniques when they are young, you will be guiding them to a lifetime of healthy hair!

Washing - Wash hair using Aloe & Lavender Baby Shampoo, a mild baby shampoo. When they are old enough, teach kids how to shampoo and rinse their own hair. Use hair care conditioner when your child is older and has longer hair. Avoid putting hair care conditioner on the scalp.

Tangles - Detangling is best done before you wash your child's hair.  Using a wide tooth comb, start at the bottom of the hair, working your way up. To reduce the pain of combing tangled hair, hold taut the section of hair you are trying to comb.  For problematic tangles, spray hair detangler for gentle hair care.

Brushing - Encourage your child to comb/ brush their own hair.  Use a comb, not a brush on hair that is wet. This hair care promotes shine and minimizes hair breakage.

Accessories - Kids love having fun clips and hair ties. Avoid hairclips with sharp teeth, as these can hurt the scalp and cause hair damage. Keeping hair neatly tied back is good hair care for avoiding hair tangling.
